Five IAF personnel killed as AN-32 aircraft crashes while landing in Assam’s Jorhat
The co-pilot has survived the accident and is currently undergoing medical treatment.

An AN-32 aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF) crashed while landing in Assam’s Jorhat district on Saturday, June 13, a defence spokesperson said.
The incident took place when the aircraft was landing at the IAF’s airbase in the Rowriah area. Senior IAF officials have rushed to the area.

Casualty, if any, is yet to be ascertained, the spokesperson noted.
Firefighting operations were underway at the accident site in Jorhat, while emergency respnse teams have been deployed.
